Anybody know where to get a cheap one for single watch? Buddy looking for one and asked me, the one I have was not cheap and holds multiple so I`m no help lol. He`s finding everything in hte 400+ range which I told him is normal lol. Got a new Rolex for x-mas but no winder.

Surfer- Check out Deutsche Optik;Optics and Military Collectibles:Binoculars, military binoculars, rangefinder, compass, nautical antiques, ships clocks, magnifiers, militaria, military watches, Optolyth, Ollech & Wajs, Sinn, pocket watch and military surplus (http://www.DeutscheOptik.com) . They have a two-watch winder with an A/C adapter that even lets you choose which direction it winds. $89 or two for $150. Item # DSO26 .

Oh, and congrats on the Rolex. I`ve had mine for ~30 years.

Thanks for the link, I sent him an Amazon link with a bunch and said "good luck" lol

Surfer- Ah, OK, sorry I misread what you posted. Yeah, lots of people don`t like Rolexes as much as I do (my wife included, won`t have one as a gift). Hope your buddy likes the winders, if I were to buy one that`s probably the one I`d get.

Let me warn you, if you buy cheap, you`ll get cheap. It will break. You`ll get something mass produced with a Chinese motor in it. Spend the extra $100.00. Trust me.

If you wear your Rolex daily (like I do with mine) you won`t need a winder. You can let it sit a good 24 hours and it`ll still tick. You can hand wind your Rolex too. Just unscrew the crown and let it pop out on its own. Turn forward like 10 times and you`ll have wound it up. At least my 40 year old Submariner works like that.

If you want a decent winder at an affordable price, check these guys out:

* 1-Watch Winder | Automatic Winders to Wind One Watch (http://www.thewatchprince.com/watch-winder/1-watch-winder)

They also sell factory irregulars at a discount. It`ll be slightly cosmetic where you`ll barely tell.

I like Orbita watch winders. Check eBay too for Orbita.
