I want to polish the windshield on my car as well as my parents cars. But I was going to try the autoglym but it would appear that it isnt made anymore. So whats the best kind out there and what kind of a pad would one use on a PC.

I can get Griots locally (which is a plus but not necessary)

It seems 1Z Glass Polish works pretty well.

I agree. I recently used it with a 4 inch white pad with the UDM and it cleaned up water spots on a car I recently detailed. The windows looked new.

The Diamondite Glass Cleaning system is nice as well.

I use Duragloss Nu glass with orange pad and have great results with it.

If the glass is in fair condition, then ClearKote Vanilla Moose Wax Hand Glaze also does a nice job. I use it on weather stripping to, with the PC and white pad. Youd be amazed what comes off.

What pads? Orange followed by white?

If you are looking to remove contaminants and waterspots, I would clay followed by DG Nuglass. However, if you want to attack light marring etc. your gonna need some compound. Ive removed some nasty scratches with a lot of passes, ensuring that the glass cools before hitting it again.

1Z, Zaino, DG, Diamondnite, all make good glass products that Ive used with positive results.

Bon-ami is a good cleaner. And its cheap to buy.

P21 polishing soap is great for paint overspray. Did a 70`s Holden Ute with original windscreen and it took it all out and some scratches too.

Another vote for Autoglym, it is a good product when applied by hand but a great product when used with a PC
