Ok just wanted to start a new thread since a lot of things changed...

I have a 07 Civic and the paint/clear coat is soft. I have a light to medium swirls. So what pads should I get? Trying to stick with Meguiar too (local). I have #83 and #9 from previous.

How does this look?

1. #83 on trunk lid only another W-8006 pad

2. #9 with W-8006 pad

3. #80, light coat, (maybe even ColorX?) Another W-8006 pad

4. I might go with a Sealant like #20 or #21 with W-9006 pad or just Wax (NXT) by hand

I use these pads with the quick change bit.

I love my meguiars w8 and 9006 pads, they seem to work well for me. But I wouldnt do #9 then #83, as 83 is more aggressive, so you will be essentially wasting product with that. For sealant, i love #21.

I think I changed it before you posted :p So #83 then #9 correct?

i have a 07 civic too, i have found that LC White and sometimes orange is all i need on my car for polishing, maybe try them or something that compares to them from meg`s.

im sorry i meant 80 is more aggressive then 9 too, so you may want to leave 9 till the very last, or not even at all.
