figured I`d bring to traffic in this section, so....

My dads friend had this boat for me to detail, as you can see it was FILTHY, had a layer of mildew on it and the gelcoat was dull and chalky on the entire boat. I didnt have my marine stuff with me (on vacation), so I used OHC with orange and yellow pads, hell I even used it on the windshield and all the metal, worked great. I was really impressed with it. I followed up with a 2 coats of #21 on everything.

the hull wasnt bad but compounding the topside was a pain. luckily the OHC worked well when done by hand for the tight spots, I found it hard to find a compound that works well by hand for boats.

all this was done with a 100lb Milwaukee rotay mind you....

SShine,

The boat looks fantastic. Very nice detail. Question though, can you expand on what is OHC and also, is #21 the Synthetic Sealant? My buddy is about to do a difficult boat project and we`re both car guys, not boat guys. This is pretty new territory. Any product related help is appreciated.

Thanks

OHC is Optimum Hyper Compound. and yes #21 is the sealant.

I would purchase some boat compound however, as I left mine at home for this job (was visiting my parents)
