just as the title reads, how do you guys clean headliners? Specifically the cotton ones that tend to form cotton balls when rubbed? Do you guys use brushes? type of cleaning solution used?

I`ve used woolite/water spray it on lightly and wipe with a mf.

If it is a sensitive fabric I will blot as to not disturb the knap

I use APC 10:1 sprayed lightly and and wipe with a microfiber.

If it`s a tough spot, I might agitate with a toothbrush.

Shoulda done a search, there`s a huge thread on this, I guess there are many little threads as well, maybe the mod`s should consolidate.

I spray an APC directly on to a mf towel, then brush the headliner.

I`ve always wiped HLs down with just a rung-out wet towel. There`s usually not any heavy ground in dirt, so light cleaning works fine. It`s amazing how dirty/dusty some HLs can get though.
