I`m looking to try a carnauba after using sealants for so long. I`d mainly be using it on lighter colors and lighter metallics. After looking at some of the click and brags I really like the glossy wet glow that carnauba waxes offer (the look I`m after). Also, durability does matter because I don`t want the wax to be completely gone after a couple of weeks; I`d like to get at least 1 month. Easy application is always a plus.

After doing some reading, I`ve narrowed it down to these:

CG: 50/50

Victoria: Collectors or Concours

Swissvax (sale at Pakshak): Onyx, Samurai (my car is Japanese) or Saphir (my price limit)

- any major differences between these 3 from Swissvax?

Zymol: Titanium

Thanks for any input

I`d also consider Clearkote`s Carnauba Moose. It is as good as any `beauty` carnauba I have used and it is pretty durable.

Concourso is a big step up over Saphir. Stretch your budget a bit and go for it.

Bang for your buck; Natty`s Red or Blue is hard to beat.

CG 50/50 is nice

Pinnacle Signature for metallics; Souveran for darks and solids.

I love 1000P on lighter colors and metallics. Can`t beat the durability, and the flake pop is beautiful!

I agree, 1000P is nice. In fact, that`s what I`m using right now.

I`m thinking Concorso is a bit too much for me right now (it is tempting though). Anyone have any other thoughts on the less expensive Swissvax offerings?

Are you looking to top 1000p or use it on it`s own?

If you`re going to be doing other car than yours, Swissvax Saphir. Samurai=japanese cars. The difference between Onyx and Saphir is 30% carnauba vs 40%. If Concorso is out of budget, Saphir would be the step above Samurai/Onyx.
