Washed with Z-7 car wash, and a wheel brush. For the wheel wells and tires and rims.

Tires received Surf City Beyond Black Tire Pro.

The Wash

The Schmitt (white/yellow) and Z-7 car soap. Clay was not needed, surface felt fine. Wasn`t rough or gritty.

The Gameplan

All my LC org pads were dirty. So I used a Edge green pad, with the PC. Started speed at 3 then went up to speed 6. I used Z-AIO and a cobra blue indigo mf to remove. Then finished off with ZCS.

 That car is amazing, god I love the Z06. $7,300 dollars is a lot for 85-100 horsepower over stock. The car is sick don`t get me wrong. I would take it in a heartbeat. Just my $.02

Oh yea, try $17K for a X51 Powerkit upgrade from Porsche for only 26Hp!!! I passed on that option as you may guess. I`d rather have the ceramic brakes/rotors and a few other items. Christ, the PCCB`s (Ceramic Brakes/Rotors) cost a bit over 8K.

Anyone that would pat 17K for 26hp is a damn idiot.

So mabe 7,300 is not so bad.haha

Well, there are quite a few "idiots" with X51 3.8 engines in Porsches. Oh did I forget, you get a carbon fiber dual air box? :chuckle: Christ, it should have diamonds on the damn thing. Yea, you also get aluminum intake, better flowing heads, headers, re-mapped ECU, and a bit different Vario-Cam. Big deal! To go from 355 to 381 cough up the $17K!!:grinno:

I can get 26Hp from headers, sport cats, and re-map of ECU! Hell Cargraphic has a C2S cabro at 404Hp with a stock 3.8, just headers, cats and ECU remap... Need I say more?

Oh and BTW, the Z06 looks fan-freakin tastic!

Very nice, turned out really good too. I really like the wheels too. :)

MTI is the shop that built the twin turbo `01 Z06 I detailed about a year ago. 600 hp at the wheels on pump gas and 950+ potential on racing gas and more boost. Unreal acceleration, even on pump gas!

The mods seem similar to another customer`s yellow Z06 (the one with the decals everyon hates!)...headers, cold air, exhaust with crossover, manifold clean-up and match porting and a dyno tune. Layed down 535 hp on the rollers. Said the next time I come out to clean it, as long as it is a nice day, he will give me a ride. :)
