I think it was tread coming off the tire. Crazy thing to do to such a beautiful car!

yea...that`s why I don`t do burnouts when I replace the rear tire on my bike anymore...I hate peeling rubber off everything.

when you push a tire past it`s limits like that they explode

and if any part of it is still attached it the rim it will beat up the wheel wells preatty bad

think of it as a rubber whip going @ 6000 RPM

I have seen whole rear quater pannels crushed & pulled off
