Wondering what methods you have had success with when cleaning the snow and ice off of a vinyl convertible top window. Car is a porsche boxster, snow frozen onto the rear window (not a heated window) because nobody was home to clean it off before it froze. Suggestions?

Start the car.. run the heat full blast. Park it so the rear window faces the sun if possible.. let Mother Nature help with the defrost process!

Tough part about moving the car to face the sun is that sometimes (sometimes = 11.9 months out of the year in MA, or at least that`s what it feels like...) the driveway is so icy and snowy the car won`t move!

Pour hot water over it and dry it quickly!

Go park in a warm garage somewhere. surely you know someone or somewhere to find a heated garage.

Just be very very careful!! My dad had a convertible he bought years ago that sat outside one winter before he restored it and when he cleaned off the snow one day he put the snow brush through the back window. It was an old top, but I`m sure you could do the same with a newer one if the cold makes it brittle enough.
