i cant post pics of the the car but ,the car did was washed ,clayed and polished with menzerna 106 orange pad. Then i used white pad with KLASSE AIO and this was the result,it goes to show you how important a paint cleaner is in a good detail.

Did you say "WHITE" pad. Where I don`t see (wait) oh there it is on the bottom.

Man if that doesn`t say a lot to a customer.

Are you sure it was from the paint? I ask because the Menzerna Micro Polish I have turns my white pads gray.

Goes to show that clay isn`t really that effective at cleaning paint.

I am not sure that the waterless wash would have removed all of the polish residue though. An IPA wipedown would have. Now that I know that the paint is silver, was it a single stage paint or a clear coat? (I am only asking because that possibly may also be paint on the pad, just an observation).

clear coated,im sure some of it polish residue and alot of dirt . My main point is no matter what it is or where it came from its important to get it off before moving on to LSP.

I`m new to pads and machine polishing, is that pad trashed, or can you clean it and use it again?

+1. I didn`t have any color change with the IP and orange pad, but when I moved to the next step with the MP and white pad, it changed my pad gray as well.
