Removal just heat and peel. I think you need to peel perpendicular to the paint to prevent from ripping off any paint, but double check on that.

Here is one source for replacement: ClearMask Automotive Paint Protection And Light Protection Film (http://www.clearmask.com/)

Thanks. I see that they applied the 3M over the factory pinstripe. What do you think the chances that the 18yr old pinstripe will stay on the paint?

What are we talking about, the wrinkled dirty piece on the fender flare? Because you lost me when you started talking about pinstripes.

On the fender flare you see that wrinkled dirty plastic.. yes..thats what im talking about.

But the pic i took doesnt show the second pinstripe, which is further down. See my C&B "18yr old single stage paint" topic for more pics.

Is that a tape stripe or paint? Either way, I figure it`s 50/50 but I don`t know what I`m talking about...jugdement call...look at the rest of the stripe, rub the edge, see if it seems like it`s on there.

I`d be a little weary of the pinstripe coming off, but pinstripes are easy to get replaced.
