Backing Plate for Meguiars 6.5" Soft Buff Pads

I was considering purchasing the Meguiars 6.5" Soft Buff pads for use with a rotary AND the UDM.



Can these pads use any BP or do they "have" to use Meguiars own 6" BP (like the text on AG)?

Any issues with using a 4.75" rotary BP with these pads on the rotary?

Any issues with using the UDM`s supplied BP (4.75" or 5" I think?) with these pads on the UDM?

The 4.75 backng plate fits the Megs 6.5 inch pads perfectly.
