mobile detailers in NC

How can I go about finding out if mobile detailing is legal in my area? I live close to lake Norman and was wondering if I had to reclaim any waste water/chemicals that I may use.

I would guess you need to speak to local government as well as state people. Try your local zoning board and also the state dept of commerce. The Professional Car Wash Association may be able to help out as well.
