I have been using #26 as my beauty wax and love the look, but have wondered if there is something that provides better results for the money? Im getting some Maxwax on sale to try... My car is "Spice Red Metallic"

This is the result from #26 over Ez-Creme over some other stuff that I have used over the months - http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/4095/ezcre26016at7.jpg

If anyone has any experience, I would be interested if the Surf City wax is decent...

That is certainly a preference question. I like #26 a lot...Here are a few that I like even a little more.

Souveran

P21S

CG 50/50

Petes 53

XXX Hardcore

Nattys (I prefer the white to red and blue)

Blackfire Paste Wax

I love #26. Its a great wax for the money. I still can`t believe I got mine for 99 cents at Autozone... :)

I agree! #26 is still a fine product. I also like Mother California Gold pure Carnauba... another sleeper! Plus, anytime I want, I can pick it up locally for a great price. When used with Mothers Sealer & Glaze, it looks extremely nice!

#26 is good but I think that Nattys White or Blue give you more wetness and greater ease of use.

^^^^^

I actually prefer Nattys as well, but I think #26 is easier to buff off.

Pinnacle Liquid Souveran is excellent for sheer looks. It`s not long lasting though. I haven`t tried the paste version yet but am told it`s even better. I have a `95 Camry that`s similar in color to your GTO and after a fresh coat of PLS it looks VERY wet, with a VERY deep shine/reflections.

I haven`t used #26 yet, so I can`t compare the two.

#26 is a lot less expensive. It`s hard to beat Meguiars on price.

I think the best bang for the buck wax is Clearkote`s Carnauba Moose. Excellent depth and darkening effect and pretty durable too. I use it more than any other carnauba I have on hand...and I have a lot!

Thats the next purchase I will be making. Been wanting to try a liquid carnauba for along time..As a matter of fact Ive never used a carnauba..LOL..Should look good on my conversion van, which has black single stage paint

I think FK Pink is pretty good bang for the buck.

P21s on my car, just get S100. It is like 15 bucks cheaper... You have red too so I think it would look nice.

By the way, S100 and P21S are NOT NOT NOT the same wax.

I like # 26 but not just by itself. I have two coats of NXT topped with #26 but the real question to ask, and only you can answer it is, do you like what you see? :waxing:
