Thank you autopia for the inspiration. This is my black Corvette which I detailed using this forum as inspiration. I know I have a long way to go to be as good as you guys but here is my process for the first time. It was overcast and started to rain so I only took one picture with camera. I will post more pictures as I get more good.

-ONR Wash using two buckets with GritGuards

-Dried with Guzzler

-Optimum Compound with Yellow Cutting Pads using the Ultimate Detailing Machine

-Optimum PoliSeal with Black Finish Pad using Ultimate Detailing Machine

-Optimum Spray Wax for two coats

-Armor All Orginal Shine on tires and wheel wells

-Mothers Billet Polish on exhaust and rims.

Looks great from the pic. Are those cross-drilled rotors? I`d suggest painting your calipers black with white corvette lettering for that extra bit to set that stance off :2thumbs:

Looking great. Nice job for your first time.

I have a question, with it being an 08, how come you decided to compound it with a yellow pad? Was there some paint defects?

I`ve seen some come from the factory with light isolated swirls. Was yours like that too, or maybe just to smooth out the months of sitting at the dealership getting washed by hacks?

Again, great job, it`s looks killer.:goodjob
