I was washing my car and noticed I cannot remove this (tree sap) I think it is. It takes a lot of pressure and a lot of rubbing before it really comes off. I know you guys must know of an easier way, since it is all over the car! It would take me years to finish! Any advice would be great, I don`t know too much about car detailing so you may want to hold off on some detailing jargon=D

Here are some pictures of it:

:welcome to Autopia, clwclw.

Claying (http://autopia.org/forum/guide-detailing/80231-detailing-clay-pre-wax-cleaning.html) usually makes quick work of sap.

Get yourself a claybar kit from wal-mart or autozone and it should be fairly easy to remove that sap. I have found real hot water to be very helpful as well in removal of sap.

Denatured alcohol. It`s near the paint thinner at Wal-mart. Takes it off great.

Claybar yes, also try some goo gone, wd40 or 3M adhesive remover.

all are clearcoat safe, but you`ll want to rewax afterwards.
