Hi guys,

I just picked up a Elise and there are spots on the inside door panels of what looks like the original owner had put on suntan lotion, and then pushed open the door. I tried using some 303 but to no avail. Anyone have any ideas what might get this out?

Thanks

When you say you used 303, you used the protectant or the cleaner? You need to use some sort of diluted APC or a leather cleaner.

I would also recommend a diluted APC or leather cleaner.

Use a very diluted APC at first if it does not work and doesnt show any chemical problems then try again or use a stronger ratio.

Saddle soap might help, It will clean without creating a stain of its own.

It`s leather...

the 303 I was using was Protectent. I may need to try the Meguair`s leather cleaner I have laying around.

Any leather cleaner should work. I prefer Zaino Leather Cleaner...

Ive found Meg`s leather cleaner to be pretty mild, and if that suntan lotion was actually a sunscreen with paba, it`ll be a PITA to get rid of with the Meg`s LC. Like they said above, the APC is probably better choice. Try the megs tho, can`t really hurt.
