This one came to me in clean condition and had some heavy swirls and wash induced marring. For the most part the swirls where moderate on the vert panels.

Before:

QEW wash and clay using QEW mix as lube.

On the roof, hood and trunk I used green wool/P1500/Metabo 1500 to get out some water spots. I used a PC/white CCS/IP/3M UF to follow on the trunk as I did not want to burn any paint around the rear spoiler.

Test spot on door with 80% IP and 20% 3M UF/white CCS and 1500 on the metabo, thanks to Rydawg for the advise on using that combo on this soft clear.

Cropped version of the above pic, sorry about the focus:

I took the car back out and found some slight holograms on the right rear door. I cleaned wheels and tires then washed the car, to remove the polishing oils/dust and then went over the entire car (paint, glass and trim) with ZAIO/Green P3 pad/PC. That took car of the slight holograms and gave a nice clean surface for the zaino to bond to. This car will be outside 24/7 so I wanted to ensure optimum bonding of zaino to the surface.

I applied 3x of Z2pro with ZFX to paint/glass.

Then I used Z8 on all paint and glass.

Tires got Z-16

Exhaust tip got:

Deep Finish Chrome

Z2pro

Interior:

Vac

Iz CP wipedown

Glass got IG

Forgot to get after pics.

The car looks good. I bet that spoiler was difficult to buff/clean around, eh?

I really like the looks of those cars, too bad they made them look boring with the 2008redesign.

Whatever you used is perfect for that color of paint.

Nice job.

Awesome correction with the combo you use (IP/3M UF) on the STI, looks amazing after using Zaino apply from the correction you did! :2thumbs:

Nice work. Swirls aren`t usually very visable on light colored metallics like that, but those must have been pretty bad.

I just did a Suby Forrester the other week and it was a bear do to all the lumpy moldings and scoops and such......

That one looks great.:goodjob

For a grayish silver color, that thing has tons of depth and wetness to it.

So 80%IP and 20%3M UF ehh. Looks like a wonderful combo.

Thanks! Yes I ended up using the PC around the spoiler.

Nice job.

Thanks! As soon as I saw the car it screamed Z2pro at me.

Very deep reflections, just exceptional.

Thanks for your kind words!

Thank you very much Ryan for all your help the past few days. Guys, Ryan is just a wealth of knowledge when it comes to polishing. Porsche coming as soon as I get more pics from the client. :)

Thanks Angelo! Adding UF to the IP really increased the working time and added such a gloss.

great job! came out nice!

Thanks Mixxer!

Nice work Brian!

Thank you SpoiledMan!

paint looks super wet man..nice job

Thanks! I was really happy with the way it came out. The client had a big smile on his face when he came to pick it up.

Thanks Josh! I think the trunk was the worst part, I thought about taking the wing off to get it perfect, but I think its held on with double sided tape and at least 8 bolts.

Thank you! It worked very well on this soft clear. Ryan tells me that on black it still might need going over with Uf on its own and a blue pad.

Thanks for the nice comments Bryan. I just love playing with different polishes to see how much gloss I can really push before I top it. I am always here to help!

Sometimes I confuse my self at times and have a brain overload with everything I know and learn:doh

Yeah, there`s like NO room for a rotary (safely) around that spoiler. DA is the order of the day for sure.
