I`m new to detail city, and very impressed with all the valuable info found here. I have a dark highland green mustang bullitt # 5149. I just baught a pc and am waitning for the pads i ordered to be delivered. any suggestions on using Megs#7?

Another Mustang in the corral!! Welcome to Detail City! I don`t have any experience with Megs #7, but I`m sure someone here will. You may want to post that question separately on another forum here at DC if it doesn`t get answered soon enough.

#7 is a glaze which doesnt have any swirl removing capabilities. It should leave a deep wet look to your paint. For Meguiars swirl removal products I love using #83 DACP if the spiderwebbing is pad and then follow that up with #80 Speed glaze. You can follow that with #7. You can apply #7 with a finishing pad on your pc at a lower speed. You shoudl be able to find #83,#80, and #7 locally. IF auto stores and body shops dont have it they shoudl be able to order it for you. Remember to clay your vehicle prior to performing any of these steps. On top of #7 you can go with a pure carnauba like #26 or #16 if you can find it. You may also try NXT but I think you would want to skip the #7 becuase I dont think they would bond properlly.
