scratches w UDM

i just bought a used 4runner has some scratches they arent through the paint. i plan on getting the udm next week what is a good polish and wax combo? Also do i only use the scratch remover on the scratches or do i do the whole car? There is also some swirling the car is silver. and what pads do i need to use a step by step would be great. thanks for the info.
