Hi guys!

Here is a 05 HD Road King (ex police package) that I did for a friend of mine. It was very dirty and had some major swirls going on along with some dullness. I have been doing a bunch of bikes for people and they are very time consuming. I have to do his other bike also when I get time.

I decided I was going to play with some new products so I used them on this bike

Process.

Wash - Bike bright spray (great stuff)

3M 3000 series extra cut compound - rotary/hand

po85rd3.02 - rotary/hand

po106ff - rotary/hand

3M Ultrafina - rotary on the tank till it polished out to perfection and exceeded the gloss of glass:p

IPA wipedown on paint

Z6 wipedown on whole bike

Deepfinish Deepswax - 3 coats

Deepfinish Chrome polish on all the chrome till it matched the gloss level of the paint:laugh: This is the best and cleanest chrome polish I have ever used and it is easy to use, plus it has polymer protection in it all in one step.

I did lose a bunch of pics when my batteries died, but I have these so enjoy:usa

Before an during polishing:

Nice job, turned out really good! :)

Road Kings mean a lot of disassembly, plus cleaning those whitewalls. :nervous2:

Thanks Scott! Ya the tires were brand new and had all the blue crap on them. So I had to keep rolling it forward and back and his driveway is a hill. The battery was dead also.

These pics came out really lousy. I was rushing the pics cause the dead battery light was flashing and most pics have some jitter to them. The paint is really deep and wet with crazy reflections. Next time I go to his house I will get better pics.

WoW that thing is a beast. I would be scared to ride that thing! Nice job though that thing was pretty bad.

Perfect Ryan...lol

I thought you where the automotive master, but now I may have to reconsider... The Harely Master? The Bike Master? The Master Bait... I mean Master Biker? Hmmmm

Great work, you need a new nickname...

Thanks Todd!

I did my friends truck and then this bike. He now wants me to do his other bike (along with his friends) and all of his work vehicles and also a tri-axle dump truck that is hammered, but fixable. That should be a long 2 day job.

Bikes are a ton of work and more work than cars sometimes. This was a beast for sure. It is amazing in person.

Wow, what a difference. All those curves and such would be a nightmare for me. The reflection is absolutely amazing.

Thanks buddy! It is very tough with all the contours. I had to use a special 2 inch pad for the rotary which was different. It`s just wierd taking apart someones bike and having them come back and seeing it all apart. I normally have them break it down for me so I am not responsable, but no one cares for the safety of the paint like me.

This one time I had this other guy put his bike back to together and I was loading my truck up. As I came back in the shop he was being very rough with the center piece that goes over the tank and then went to go grab a shop rag to wipe the paint. I screamed at him before he did it.:wall I told him to put the shop rag down and to NEVER use that on paint. It`s funny cause I just explained to him 5 minutes before about MF towels:grinno: Some people.... It`s funny when I tell the owners to stay away from their own Harley:grinno:

Looks like I will have to come up with a nickname for you also:grinno:

Looks awesome Ryan! Nothing better than deep, wet black paint and gleaming chrome on a sick looking Harley. Those are some crazy reflections too. Can`t wait to use my new bottle of Deepswax after seeing these pictures! Impeccable work once again. :2thumbs:

Thanks Rick!

The pictures came out like total crap. But then again they came out ok for a 4 mp kodak $100 cam that eats 4 batteries every 14 pics. I was rushing taking the pics as it was almost dying and I was almost falling asleep as it was 1:00 in the morning.

Did you get any of the metal polishes too? They are amazing and easy.

On my truck when I get time, I am going to do 3 coats of Z5/ 3 Z2/ 3 Deepswax and see how black and wet I can make it. I will test a spot for a few weeks first. I am trying to fit the Deepswax into my Zaino regimen :heelclick
