Has anybody tried the combo from 3M? I`ve read threads recommending the Performance Finish but not none so far with the One Step Cleaner Wax. The curious thing is that on the One Step Cleaner Wax is says it contains Carnuba and what I have learned so far is that you do not put a sealant such as the Performance Finish on top of a Carnuba. Does this system work and if so what makes it different from the rest?

I used this in the search for a one step product that removes light swirls, and leaves the surface glossy and protected. This has allowed me to offer light paint correction on my cheaper detailing packages. I take it you want something for a similar reason?

Meguiars #66 is better in my opinion.

On a porter cable with a cutting pad it works very well at removing light swirls leaving no visable marring on light coloured and hard paints. If the paint gets some light marring then switch to a polishing pad instead, however i`ve found that even with a cutting pad it does an excellent job.

On lighter coloured cars i`ve even used it on my Metabo rotary buff with a polishing pad. I removed all the swirls while leaving the surface hologram free with a nice shine

TTWAGN, thanks helfull reply. I am still puzzled by the fact that it instructs you to put a Sealant on top of a product containing Carnuba.
