brought a new black bmw and it has water marks all over , i have tried a clay bar but this is not touching it it seems that wax has been put on top creating a seal on the paint, whats the best way of removing all the wax and polish and water marks

cheers in advance

I`m assuming your talking about water streaks left behind by insufficient drying and not water etching. The dealer did a poor job drying the car and then put a coat of wax on top and now those water streaks are locked beneath the wax. Correct? If that is the case then use a mild polish to remove the existing layer of wax and that will also remove the water streaking below. Then apply a new wax or sealant over the top and you`ll be fine. If you own a P/C that would make this task a lot faster.

I agree. A mild polish that stays `wet` long enough to be be worked really well...Megs #83/#9/#82. I recommend these because I have actually used them on black and have had good results. A PC and a polishing pad or two and you should be good to go.
