A buddy of mine wants me to do his wife`s 900S convertible. I only have protectant for vinyl, and he says the top is canvas/fabric.

Can anyone recommend a good OTC protectant for fabric convertible tops?
Where/what stores can it be bought?

Thanks.

You may be able to find 303 Aerospace Fabric Guard at local True Value hardware stores or marine (boating) shops.

Here is a link to some maintenance tips from Sea-Ray (boat manufacturer).

They recommend using 3M Scotchgard or 303 High Tech Fabric Guard on canvas.

BMW has the best canvas/protectant I have used so far. So, if you have a BMW dealership close by, I highly recommend it. A bottle will probably last for 2-4 treatments, depending on the size of the top.
