I think the most expensive single product I have ever bought was Pinnacle Souveran which was about $70. I used it several times on several cars then sold it to try some more stuff. If I thought something would make a real difference I think I would spend up to maybe $150 but the onl thing I have seen in that proce range is some of the Zymol products and I am not hearing consistant things about their performance to justify me to try it.

So whats your limit?

If I had a nicer car and newer car I would maybe invest up to $100 on a single product. But for my `02 Civic with over 100K miles I will stick with my cheap but effective 845IW for protection.

$100 for sealant and maybe $200 for a wax but I`d prefer to try a little portion of someone else`s tub before I spent $200 or more on one

I ordered Concorso from Swissvax 2 days ago and it was $225. That`ll be the most I will ever spend on a product alone.:grinno:

$50 tops. If something is $200, does it really look 4x better?

It`s not about looks all the time.

I believe higher end waxes will give you more CLEAR reflections and such.

Also, from Picus` experience; concorso cleans very very well and it sheets water amazingly well.

So far it has been around 90 CDN for Souveran Paste. Right now that would probably be about the limit, as I go to school and have other things to spend money on = \

Glasur $95

Before that I had paid $90 for 2 tubs of Souveran during the special last year.

I`ll just say that I`m inclined to spend as much as I have to to keep getting noticeable improvements *that I value* of one kind or another. But at some point I just don`t care enough....I woudn`t buy a $5K wax no matter how great it is.

But hey, that`s just me and I`d never :nono anybody about how they spend their money.

Souveran is a no-brainer, it gives the Jag`s (admitedly weird) paint a look I can`t get with other LSPs that I`ve tried...so it`s <$100 price is well worth it to me. But it has some drawbacks and I`d spent more to overcome those.

OTOH, I`m giving plenty of pre-purchase thought to the idea of buying a Zymol EG or a Swissvax equivalent. I`d sure hate to have an expensive plastic jar for a paperweight if I don`t like it.

I went $95 for 2 tubs of PS. Used it on my daily driver.... If I had a garage queen car, who knows how much I would spend? :buffing:

Honestly I dont think I would go above what I paid for Souveran and UPGP, $70. There are so many good products out there at far less money like Zaino and Werkstatts
