The cobblers kids really are barefoot...

Really I just wanted to show off what a moron I am. I haven`t had a day off in a while, so my car was neglected for 4 months (ya...); after like 10 weeks I sort of knew I was in for it, so I just let it go longer. Not smart...Anyway, when I finished the morning appnt my afternoon guy canceled due to rain so I sucked it up and decided to clean the sucker. The wheels were the worst obviously, about 3 hours for those. The rest of the car just got a good wash and opti-seal, I had a morning appointment so I was tired. I still need to 106ff the hood (waterspots) and then put a real wax on it. Anyway, here goes.

Nice, no?

Menzerna ph wheel cleaner, scrub scrub scrub

Unfortunately, despite it removing what it could, I had some stains. Honestly, I was a little worried.

So I polished with some aluminum polish, for a long, long time. Thankfully it worked.

The rest of the car was, well...dirty. Rockers were covered in oil (don`t ask), lots of road tar, bugs, souls of young children. It was rank.

So, p21s soap via foam gun, wash, wash wash, lots of apc then some opti-seal.

I guess one benefit to never washing your car is you can`t swirl it up. :)

Anyway, some real c&b`s as soon as I get pics up. Cheers guys.

The before pics where downright frightening. :nervous2:

Have you tried or can you get the P21S gel wheel cleaner? In the shade you can let it dwell for a few hours if you like. Not harmful to any wheel type.

Glad to see your BMW looking great again! :spot

Microfiber actually. I was scared, didn`t want to scratch them. They are actually more resilient than I thought. Oh, front is the OEM aero lip, it`s a BMW part. :)

Yep, we can get it. I actually have some. It`s super similar to the Menzerna stuff; I like them both on alum wheels.
