How many coats have you put on ? I have 2 about a 2 weeks apart.

Started w/601 , which i didn`t care for and followed by 105.

Can I layer this like Z ? or should I layer 111 on it ? 111 is just not deep like 105 though or is that just my perception ?

By the way been using a PC with a polishing pad an # 4

601 is merely an agent to help the 105 bond better. try the 601--don`t wipe off and apply the 105 on top. then buff off. wait 12 hours and reapply only the 105 again. let it cure for another 12 hours and then i top with either a carnuba wax or AW. 105 will last you 4-6 months.

one hint...clay first before doing the 601/105. detailing is all in the prep work and claying will give you a nice smooth surface to work on.

good luck

2 coats is all you need, then follow with AW. Put the 111 away , since you have 105 . 105 is better.

My question is if you want a little bit of cleaning and light scratch removal before the 601/105 combo -- what to use?

DG 101 has a good cleaner in it.

Thats what I plan on using, got some 901 wash and 101, waiting for the 105 to come in then I`ll try it. Here that its best to coat it w/ 105, wait 12-24hrs the another coat of 105, wait 12-24hrs then do some AW 951.

Also here that you can go 101 then 105 or 601/105 depending on what you want. I`m going to hold off on teh 601 for now.

I find that with 601,the reflection image looked sharper .Sometime I will used 101>105 and top off with AW .They looks great for me too.
