I used this stuff yesterday and noticed as soon as it hit the tires the white foam turned a brown/black. Was it the old tire dressing or the oil from the tires? When I rinsed out both my brushes, my tire brush just released tons of black looking water. Kinda like oil.

Works well doesn`t it. I use to use it but it`s pricey if you do a bunch a cars.

Man ive never seen anything work like that before. It worked out great with my brushes. I didnt have to do another bucket or water or dirty my current water. ya it is expensive. Its like 6 or 7 a bottle here. I wish it came in a gallon.

That expensive? At my local Autozone it`s 32oz for around $5.

Yep, it definitely works very well. That brown/black stuff was probably both tire dressing and the dirt in the tire.

I absolutely LOVE this stuff. I wish I had got more than 1 bottle when CT had it on sale for half price. Oh well.

Yes, it`s nice, but I replaced it with Super Green Stuff from Majestic Solutions - doesn`t foam up, but it cleans better than EO and I can get a gallon for 10 bucks.

Advance Auto`s Wheel and Tire Cleaner, their version of EO All Wheel and Tire Cleaner, is very good. It`s less expensive by buck or two and there`s more in the bottle (32 vs 26 oz, if I remember correctly). Although, you can sometimes catch EO offering 32 oz. special bottles for the price of their 26 oz.

I haven`t used it on really dirty wheels, but on moderately dirty wheels it works as well as EO. It cleans tires similarly, too.

Eagle One did have a professional line and stuff could be bought in gallons...I do not know if the pro line is still available....Sparkle Auto still sells some of the pro line but not the tire and wheel cleaner....but I bet if you search around you may still find the gallon sizes....or even call Eagle one and see if they still have the pro line....

Cleans well but will strip the **** out of your wheel wax/sealant.

Yup, which makes it good for "starting over" on the LSP you use for your wheels

I prefer a traditional cleaning of the wheels though - even with scrubbing, I always get these strange residue marks on the wheels that I have to wipe off later with QD.

It`s great for tires, though! I`ve also used it on a few family member`s cars that had brake dust caked on. Worked so well! Didn`t have the strange residue on those wheels, though. Must be just something up with my wheels.

I`ve found the same thing (Re: the residue and marks). This is good for cleaning the heavy stuff but then I usually have to wash them again...
