Getting ready to give the DG line line a try on my Wife`s Denali Envoy (a dark metallic Gray). Here is the lineup I`m thinking about:

*Thorough* cleaning (what it needs most)

#80 w/ Orange pad. (No major blemishes, just needs cleaned up a little)

601 either by Hand or white pad.

105 probably by hand

105 next day

AW next day

Now should I go straight from #80 to 105? Should I use a white pad instead with the #80? Should I try 101 in-between? I also have P21S PCL, #7, and AIO I could use between if it is necessary. I`ve always had good luck with #80...just wasn`t sure if I needed a finer polish/glaze before the mostly pure sealant.

Thanks!

Are you asking about #20 polymer sealant or #80 speed glaze? If you mean speed glaze I would say use a white pad if the vehicle only needs minor clean up. After that you could go straight to #105 without issues.

Wow, not sure what I was on yesterday, but I typed it wrong 5 times! I`ve never used #20, so I don`t know where that came from. Thanks for pointing that out.

I meant #80 speed glaze. I will start with a white pad then. Thanks for the info!
