Driven Wash, Wax, & Vac: 2006 Jeep Liberty - Black

[Driven Auto Detail]

Vehicle: 2006 Jeep Liberty - This was the first time working on this vehicle. It was in pretty good condition. Being black though, it had it`s fair share of noticeable swirls from the local swirl-o-matic.



Service Requested: Wash, Wax, `n Vac



Wash

Pre-treat bugs with PB Bug Squash

Washed with foam gun and Chemical Guys Citrus Wash `n Gloss.



Wheels, Tires, & Wells

Wheels cleaned with DP Gel Wheel Cleaner

Tires and wells were cleaned with Zep Degreaser cut 1:1 and then dressed with AA Tire Foam



Paint

UDM, LC CCS white polishing pad, XMT 360

*This normally would have been a simple wax, but this is my wife`s dentist so I threw it in as an extra.



Interior

Vacuum via Rigid Vac

All plastics and leather cleaned with Meguiar`s Quick Interior Detailer



Glass

Cleaned with Stoners Invisible Glass

Nice Mike - that`s quite the improvement for a one-step. Is that a foam gun or a foam cannon? I wish I could get my gun to foam like that :sosad.

Very nice. Since I own a Liberty I was particularly curious to see how this turned out. One question: Did you take off the spare tire when you did that all?

Thanks for the compliments guys! The foam gun is one that "Justin" was selling. He was the member that was banned from Autopia for selling stuff (I think in particular, the foam gun). I can take more pics of it if you`d like. Anyway, the foam guns is great. I actually over-mixed it. I used 2oz. instead of 1oz. in the 32oz. bottle that came with the foam gun. I have to tell you though, the CG Citrus Wash `n Gloss is the real deal. This will be my go to wash for cars that are receiving an LSP "strip". This stuff foamed like crazy and even in one of the pics you can see that I only used half foam gun bottle.



azenthusiast, I didn`t remove the spare tire b/c there was no easy way of taking it off. I could only fit the UDM so far in around the spare tire. A little DG AquaWax took care of the "protection" portion of it since polishing wasn`t really an option. Other than that though, no worries.
