:badabum Hi,
Im in the middle of trying to sort some new buisness cards out on my computer .
for the last four years I have been looking after some great people in our local buisness parks .
Im looking to expand my weekend work to higher paid more detail type work would it be possible for some of you guys to list some of the services you offer on your buisness letterheads or cards.
what key words work best im hoping to have a decent colour picture to draw attention the kind of thing people wont throw away.
You can never know enough and every once in a while you learn something great of this site.
Thanks.
Jaymondo.

Here are a few links that may help
bus. names & websites (http://www.detailcity.com/showthread.php?t=12615&highlight=cards)
order flyers online (http://www.detailcity.com/showthread.php?t=11417&highlight=cards)
Printing service (http://www.detailcity.com/showthread.php?t=10962)
These are a few if you run a search for card in the "professional auto detailing" forum you will probably come up with even more.

I just don`t know if they will ship to England :dunno

Good Luck

My graphic artist suggested this place as a very reliable place to get cards from: crocodilecards.com (http://crocodilecards.com)

I made up my cards using microsoft word using a template. When i had a card done then i posted 10 to a page to fill the template. I then brought that to a printing store and got 250 done for 17 bucks. I even got a client out of the deal.

Heres my buisness card for some ideas.

Also my parents own a print shop here in florida. If your looking for plain black and white cards with a logo in the corner. All print shops have company they outsource those to,bce, bct etc. Normaly a 1000 black and white will run you between 20 and 30 dollars and you can have them normaly the next day. Just letting you know, Sometimes its better to do this then to print them of your inkjet printer if thats whatr your up to of course.

Ok well the file type it a eps file. i`ll screw with it later i gotta go or i`ll be late.

Check out eBay for some really good deals on business cards. I just got 1000 glossy full color cards on heavy stock, printed with my own design for $30, shipped. I got them yesterday and they are great quality, the stock they are printed on is heavier than I expected and the surface of the card is super slick, very professional. My only complaint is that it took a little longer than expected to get them, I think it was a little less than 2 weeks from auction being won to the cards at my door. If you`re patient and penny pinching, check out the seller "PRINTINUS*COM" on eBay.

Another vote for www.vistaprint.com. I have used them several times and I have found that you get commercial production quality products from them at VERY reasonable prices. I actually just ordered biz cards from them on Friday as I am just starting my own business as well.

I enjoy playing with graphic design and here is what I came up with for my biz card design (it`s not a detailing business):

If you are creating your own design on your computer, Vista Print makes it very easy to upload your design, including showing you an online "proof" before ordering. The design shown here is slighltly larger than the card will be (this is called a "bleed"). Therefore, when they cut the card stock, the ink will go all the way to the edge. Their site gives you the dimensions that you need to use, just plan on losing about a 1/4" edge all the way around (which they will show you with the "proof").
