Take a look at the hood on my 2000 Explorer. It`s been like that since i bought it. I`ve tried getting it off with some elbow grease and tar remover, but by now, its just too embedded into the paint. I believe its tree sap that has been let to sit for years.
There are probably about 10-15 of these dime-sized spots. What is everyones opinion on removing these spots? They are completely embedded on this paint and do not think its possible to actually remove these.
I was going to try a heavy compound and some touchup paint, or possibly wetsanding the areas and applying paint.
I`m relatively new to detailing, however, i do have the UDM.
Any input is appreciated.
