View Full Version : What would you charge for this DISGUSTING Sebring Sedan interior detail?

Have the chance to detail the interior of this horrible Sebring. There is crap everywhere, seats and carpet are trashed and oil covered or something, crud all over the door panels, dash and center console. I`m guessing the detail will take at least 3 hours. Here are some crappy cell phone pics for now, I`m gonna take real pics soon.

In all honestly, I`d probably turn it down or tell them $125-150 at least to do the interior. Good luck getting it done in 3 hours. You will be hating yourself if you aren`t getting close to $40 an hour to clean that pig.

$150 + a $50 fee for being a filthy nasty pig.
Wouldn`t even start on it for a penny less.

If I were you I`d take the seats out and go to town. that looks like death had a party and everyone was invited.

Man I wish half my details that come in were that clean. That`s an easy one. It`s real easy to clean filth because just by doing the simplest things like vaccumming you`ve made it look a 1000 times better. that would be a simple $65 out the door fee here at my shop. (sometimes I think you guys are spoiled on here with the gravy boats you all seem to get all the time LOL)

As a customer, not a pro, I would be willing to pay $125 - $150 for a full service interior detail on that mess. Though, of coarse if it were my car it would never look like that to begin with!!

$65.00 for a complete restoration of that interior? Not sure if you noticed but those seats and carpet (mostly carpet) are just about 40-60% brown / black. If you pull full on steam/shampoo & vacuum jobs for $65.00..i`d gladly drive my truck up to mich for that kinda service.
As kappinn said. No less than $50.00/hr and if they complain just stick em with $150.00 total or tell tehm to....JOG ON!!!

Every time I see a car like that I wonder how much that crap can affect my health. I get calls all the time from people saying they just need the interior done that it`s nasty or that there is a lot of dog hair. I quote $150 for the interior right away. 99% of the people end the call there. It`s not like I don`t want the business but it`s not worth the health risks involved (and the back ache!).
Be sure to wear GOOD rubber gloves!

If your gonna be using 100% ACID DIP! hhaaha i suggest you wear two layers :)
