This took me 4 days but I took a lot of breaks as I wore myself out on this one.
This is my personal ride, my detailing rigg 04 F150 Xtended cab, 6.5` bed of nothing but swirls and scratches. I bought this truck used back in January and did this correction about 3 months ago.
I did everything from filling in paint chips all over the front end, to wet sanding multiple scratches on every panel of the truck and of course removing swirls on every square inch including the roof.:chuckle: :waxing:
I will not post every single pic I have of the process, just the basics.
Sit down, grab some pop corn and enjoy the show.
Process: too long to list everything.
The usual wash, claybar, rotary with white pad and Menzerna IP X 2 passes in some cases more passes. Wet sanded scratches and followed up with PC. Followed up with the PC and Menzerna IP then two coats of Zaino Z5 to top it all off.
First for the paint chips on the front end.
Some of the pics are tough since the camera had a hard time focusing on the bumper and not the reflections...
