Sorry, but yet another clearcoat question.
Had deep scratch/ dent repaired: supposedly entire area was re clearcoated. Told do not not need to wait to cure before clean, wax, etc. Is this possible?

Many body shops claim the same thing, that still doesn`t make it right. If a car is repainted, even just clearcoat, you need to allow time for the paint to finish curing by outgassing. That`s different than just drying. Many come here after they waxed too soon after a paint job and now their paint gets swirls if they look at it cross-eyed. Conventional wisdom, drawn from advice from paint manufacturers, says wait three months. For a little protection and shine in the meantime, use a body shop safe glaze like Meguiars #5. Louy durability, but nice shine and a little protection.
