Here`s an 06 PT Cruiser I did this weekend with less than 4000 miles! A classic example of what kids can do to a new vehicle. My customer came to me all the way from Miami (2 hours) because he is trading it in and wanted to to look new again. This is a classic example of how detailing can increase the value of your vehicle. There`s no way an extractor could of cleaned these seats. Enjoy.

Just my luck, it starts to rain right when I start washing it.

Dirt was pouring out of the wheels and wheelwells. No way ONR/QEW wouldn`t have stood a chance with this one.

After I pulled the seats, here`s how it went:

Before:

This is what kept coming out of the seats with conventional cleaning. It wouldn`t stop lifting:

Realizing I was wasting my time doing things by hand, I pre-soaked & scrubbed with Auto Magic 713 Special Cleaner:

After Powerwashing:

Starting to dry 1 hour later (Florida heat helps alot):

95% dry (and totally clean) 3 hours later:

Afters: (100% clean and like new)

The wheelwells were so clean you could eat off them:

The owner didn`t want it waxed, so I clayed it with Auto Magic Blue Clay Magic and then Hydroshined all the paint (including door jambs):

I`ve never pressure washed seats before, but if I knew I could get results like that I may have to start! Excellent detail. It blows my mind how dirty a car can get in less than 4000 miles...

WOW that is impressive :2thumbs:

That is why I much prefer cleaning dirty leather than dirty cloth seats.

Hey David...when you say power washed....you mean with a real pressure washer like over 1200psi?

Is that the car you said would get Hydro Shine?

Amazing transformation. Looks like a new car.

PS: I am glad that you made $$$ on it, however the owner will not be so lucky by trading the car.

4000 miles and trading in?? Ouch... that was either a low use vehicle or a very short term of ownership.

I agree that kids can wreak havoc on a car, but theres also a lot to be said about parents who let children destroy their car. The mess coming off those wheels tells me that kids or not that car was doomed by the owners lack of car care.

BTW: excellent work. That interior looks like new!!

Yes - 1500 psi @ 2 gallons per minute.

Hydroshine is a spray wax that you spray on while the finsih is wet that gives the finish a shine and soften it too. Using this product after claying makes the paint feel like butter and adds protection too.

Auto Magic Magnificant. It`s a high alkaline cleaner that works almost as good as acid, but won`t burn.

OH...I have a 4200 PSI @ 4 GPM!!!! Think that will kill the seats?

A few months back Grassroots Motorsports magazine showed how they pressure washed the seats....of a 15 year old Miata! Yes they`re in Florida too. It`s amazing someone let such a new car get this bad.

wow.....very nice work. The seats look NEW!!!

I had a van that I did where I should have taken out the seats and pressure washed them, but I wasn`t sure if that was a good idea. I thought that if it didn`t dry, it would mildew......of course in this weather, it would only take a few minutes.
