What are the differences between the two, as both of these seem very popular?

All I know is 476 is a paste and 845 is a thick liquid paste. <-- If that exists.

Also seems like 845 is a multi purpose wax as to 476 is only an automotive.

MSDS for 476:

Sorry I couldn`t be more of a help. I`ve only tried 845...:)

I have both and can say that 476 seems to be a bit slicker. They are both a pain to take off if applied too thickly. I find 845 easier to use since you can pour it out on your applicator. They are both very good and you would be looking at shades of gray to determine which is better than the other.

Search, search!

476S is a paste while 845 is a liquid. The paste lasts slightly longer (both giving excellent durability) and nice looks. Some say that the 845 provides a slightly wetter look.

Don`t worry about application. As long as you apply it as thin as it should be applied, removal is not a problem at all.
