Family is at the shore for the weekend so I had some time to kill...

Process:

Wheels first (Foaming Orange Cleaner, Meguairs Hot Rims) - Wash - Clay - Wash - Poli Seal - Opti Seal - Meguiars NXT Spray Wax (I know, but it was getting late) - Stoner More Shine Less Time on tires (sponged on, not sprayed) - Stoner Invisible Glass on windows.

Also took care of a 1" scratch on the driver`s door with the Quixx package. Worked great - you could catch your nail on it but now it`s just about invisible!

looks good. i noticed the trim on the edges of the top (3rd from bottom pic) are color matched. i never noticed that before on any cars. my TL has the same strips, but they are black. since it`s trim, any word if that flakes or chips easily?

Great work, I love those RL`s, you really brought out the flake pop. That color is stunning, I`m hoping that I`ll be riding in one next summer.

I haven`t heard of any issues with the matched trim. Previously I had a Volvo with similar matching trim and while it didn`t flake on the Volvo, it did fade and in spots, kind of wear away (to black), but it took a while. I guess time will tell. Not that I`ve heard any issues with it, I`m a bit more concerned with the plastic chrome on the trim along the doors and bumpers for scratching or possibly peeling. FYI, the roof trim on my MDX is black.
