Woww! Thats pretty severe oxidation!

How well did the PC do cutting through that mess?

Only 2 passes. It is Maaco single stage paint.

I plan on sealing it with Jetseal109, and putting a layer of CG5050 over the top of it.

Not much to say, excellent work. It`s funny how you even got the hood hinges shiny again. Nice work...

Thanks guys!

I love the fact that it was SOO easy to correct, but I hate single stage paint. Also, I broke 2 backing plates from heat damage, they were ebay cheapies, so, it kinda forced me to get a good one from Danase.....

Looks pretty great! Hinges don`t look like too much of a problem, PC could hit those pretty easily.

Yeah, right over them, I was afraid they would tear up my LC pads, so I used an older one, no problems.

Looks 100% better....and shows polishing and prep make the difference in the paint`s appearance....not the waxing like most people seem to think. :goodjob
