My wife told my brother in law we would do the inside of his truck this week for $50. Ok then. When she came home with it, the outside was utterly demolished with swirls, scratches, and junk from head to toe. Way too many trips through the car wash. I told her I couldnt just let it sit in my driveway looking this horrible while I had all the tools to make it look like a champ. He wasnt paying for my exterior work so I didnt get too carried away. So here`s what we did....

Exterior:

Pressure wash

ONR

KAIOx2 via PC and 5" orange

Mark V Machine Glaze

Megs UQD

Tires - Production Super Stuff/Mark V Ultra Gloss

Interior:

Vacuum

Clean - Mark V Extreme cleaner

Shampoo carpet/Upholstery

Plastic/Rubber - Mark V Ultra Gloss

This was the rear passenger door. The sun was barely sticking out when I went to grab my camera. When I got back, it had tucked behind the neighbors house....

And say goodbye to the sun

Before/after my first pass with KAIO over the rear fender

The rear door. I really missed out on the sun in these shots

Front fender. Still some obvious swirlage that for the most part was gone after round 2

Final product in the daylighthttp://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x255/dropkickdetail/afterdodgedriverside.jpg

My baby doll did the inside. Sorry no b4 pics but it was pretty wicked bad!

Hello from lovely Idaho! I cant remember the last time I saw a potato field here....

I think you can read the numbers on my house. Stalking 101......

Can ya see my old Ford? Menz and OS, baby!

I like this one. And there`s the honey fillin` bottles

I tried a new combo on the tires. A little of my standard mega-shiny Production Super Stuff with my interior dressing, Ultra Gloss. It worked pretty well....

Finished and ready to hit the road

Thanks for looking. Time for a trip to Costco. See ya!

I am going to be doing a truck just like that this weekend. Do you have any tips on getting the front grill looking good? I know it is pretty bad shape and is going to be a pain to get to look nice.

BTW the your work looks very nice:bigups

The grill on this was in good shape so no real tips on that one. We actually put a metal polish on the chrome-type shroud on the front and it looks pretty nice. When you say its in bad shape, what do you mean? Bugs? What?

Grime, bugs, etc? There are a lot fo products out there that do great on them. I dont subscribe to the idea that bugs cant be removed with anything but a bug-specific cleaner. I use a light mix of water and degreaser, let them soak while I prep my wash buckets, then use a microfiber towel or a yellow bug sponge if they`re really baked on. Thanks for the reply. Glad someone else is out there.....
