I was picking up some AW the other day at Car Quest and I saw this. I didnt see it on their web site. I sprayed it under the hood. I think its looks good. It is supposed to condition rubber, vinyl and hoses.

Looks pretty good at first sight. I guess the real test is durability and how well it conditions the rubber.

Might be a good replacement for the CD2 Engine Detailer I can`t find OTC anywhere. ;)

Could you tell if it had any cleaning ability also? The engine sure looks nice.

My engine bay was pretty clean to begin with. I dont think it has much cleaning ability. The directions say that the surface should be clean and dry. I will post some more pics after a few weeks to show how it holds up.

I use it quite frequently. Great on grills and lower black plastic air dams......

I was wondering if it dries that the dealer stuff? Does it flake whe it dries or is it better than that stuff?

I currently use Megs HD and really like the way it works. Thanks!

I just saw this at CQ as well just 2 days ago when I went to get some AW. Might get this as well on my next trip.

That appears to be very similar to Stoner Trim Shine. How much was it? I really like Trim Shine. I`ve been using it underhood -- since I saw it recommended on one of the detailing sites (autogeek?). Everything underhood is plastic or rubber anyway. I also use it on exterior textured plastic.

I might have to try this when my Trim Shine is gone. I like all other DG products I have tried.

Megs HD is hard to beat for the money and it looks great. I think the DG was around $6.

I went out on my lunch break and picked up a can @ CQ for 3.99.. Also got 2 cans of tarminator for the price of one... I love getting good deals, makes a lunch hour so enjoyable!

I`ll be trying it out on a Blazer detail I have booked for tomorrow

It`s on their website. I noticed that the product has 2 different names, so at some point they changed the name.

Duragloss Duragloss DS (Ultimate Detail Spray, Aerosol) (http://www.duragloss.com/product.asp?pid=281)

I saw it at my local CarQuest too but wasn`t sure where this product would fit in as I have some of their other dressings. Plus, I hate aerosol products because I just don`t feel like I get my money`s worth compared to a spray version.

No wonder I couldnt find it on their site. I must have a really old can. All the DG stuff at the CQ by my house has a layer of dust on it.

Looks pretty good. Did you have to wipe at all after application, or was is just spray on and walk away?
