Can FPII be applied by hand, or am I asking for trouble? It`s for a brand new car, so I`m not trying to remove any serious swirls, etc., but thought I should use some polish. Thanks!

ive never used it by hand but i have got to think it has been done. do a quick search, theres a great link someone did that illustrates many products being used by hand and thier results. fp2 is very mild and sholdn`t be a problem by hand depending on the technique.

FPII by hand probably will not produce a good result. With a PC at 3.5-4.0 it can take several minutes to fully break down polish. I can not imagine how long it would take by hand. Wiping polsih not fully broken down can leave light scratches doing more harm than good.
