Last time Jim and I detailed the Beeast for Chris was in Jan. (http://autopia.org/forum/click-brag/84268-super-bee-yea-its-got-hemi.html?highlight=super)

So after 6 months Chris wanted to make sure the finish was protected. He also said the prime/ZCS combo was starting to loose it effectiveness. Chris liked the fact that even with the brembo calipers and dusty pads, he was always able to wash the brake dust off of the wheels with a simple Z7 wash.

Chris had just washed the car the other day and the last time he used Z8 was over a month ago.

Procedure:

Z7 wash 2 bucket method.

No clay this time. Paint passed the baggie test.

Wheels cleaned with Z7. They still seemed somewhat slick.

Tires and wells cleaned with AM 777 APC.

1 step polish on paint with ZPC/Edge 2k green 7" wave pad/ metabo 1500.

1 step polish on clear bra w/ ZPC/Edge 2k blue 6" wave pad/ metabo 1300

3x Z5pro w/ ZFX.

CS

Z8

Glass got ZAIO and Z5pro

Wheels got:

ZAIO

1x of remaining ZFX`d Z5pro.

CS

Tires got Z-16

Interior:

Vac

Z9/10 on Leather

1Z CP on all other interior surfaces.

IG on glass

Thanks Ryan! The owner (good friend of mine) came by when I had the 2nd coat of Z5pro on. He was very happy then and totally satisfied when the car was complete.

Are you going to use the metabo right away? Let us know...

Thanks Todd. I got to drive this one about 30 miles to my house. It runs very well. :bow

I bet he was satisfied. I love the look on customers faces when they see their car all complete. It usually takes 2 minutes for them to say something while they are grinning.:woot:

I will open it like a little kid on Christmas day:woohoo: Hopefully try it on a Jag I have to do Friday.

How do you like yours so far? Any small issues I should be aware of?

Thanks everyone for your kind words!

Ryan, Just make sure that you have good power and extension cord for the Metabo. I was using an older/abused cord last week and it was cutting out. Plugged in a newer cord and all was well again.

Nice detail! I love the Superbees!! That`s a nice Acura Legend coupe in the background too:xyxthumbs

Edit** Is that a 7-Series as well? Those three cars are right up there in my `favorite cars` list..
