I`ve been out of circulation for a bit due to one reason or another. I did have a chance to do a little clean-up on my stepson`s car today and thought I would share.

My stepson, Martin came by the house this afternoon. I`ve been wanting to get my hands on his black Accord for some time.

I decieded on a one step polish just to help out the general condition.

We started about 1800 and finished at about 2200 with a break for dinner.

Still lots of defects, but the car looks tons better.

The majority of the car has been repainted.

I`ll use it for my Metabo / Wool test bed once I get one.

Although its far from perfect, it does look MUCH better. You achieved your goal of `to help the general condition`, and then some.

That half-and-half hood picture is killer. Cars like that are always so satisfying!

It is a well-used Propel P2 Orange pad.

I don`t think either of us knew what color it was.

I did find a lot of small blue flake in the paint. I`m sure with more steps / time it would show up a lot better.

It left my pads black as night. :faint:

Thank you everyone for your kind words.

Martin is very happy with the results and I`m sure his wife will be too.

(It`s her daily driver)

I`m hoping for some outside daylight pictures tomorrow.

Thanks Bryan.

The two pads remaining are nasty.

I washed one ccs pad and the backing has started to come off. I don`t think they like to get wet.
