I always just put the tire gloss on the side walls of the tire but the few inches of tread on the tire that is showing never looks good, still dull. I heard to not put tire gloss on the tread because it is slippery.

My question is, should I put the tire wet gloss on the visible tire tread so that it looks good or stay away from doing that and stick to the side walls only.

Just do the sidewalls, maybe right over the sidewall lip, something like a 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I do this just cause it looks better, But never do the whole tire.

I would think it is OK to apply dressing up the entire sidewall up to the shoulder (basically any part of the tire that is not on the outside rim of the tire). I don`t think it is a good idea to dress any portion of the tread ... plus it will just wear off / look dirty the first time the vehicle is driven.
