Hey guys. New to this so bear with my learning curve please.
Looking for some one in Austin TX that will detail my 996 TT. I`m hesitant to try and clay the car since I`ve never used clay before.:nervous2:
Any one stand out in the crowd?

Hey Tom,
Welcome to the Boards! I`m sure someone will chime in here sooner or later to help you out.
I`m a newbie as well to detailing and I had my reservations at first when it came to claying my car so I know where you`re coming from. To be honest though, it`s very easy. In case you haven`t read up on it there is an article that teaches how to do it in the Guide to detailing forum. Two things you have to remember is to 1)keep your car well saturated with soapy water or quick detailer so it allows the clay to "glide" across your finish. 2)If you drop the clay on the ground TOSS IT! Clay is a very sticky substance and picks up anything. Ok, make it three things 3) work in the shade. hahah
Being a fellow Texan I know all about the heat and humidity. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
BTW, Awesome car! I would like a 997 TT as well
