After a few weeks of setting up the proper appointment and good weather, I was finally able to do a customer`s car for him. We had started talking sometime back on the mol, and the time had come (SUMMER) where we`d both be free and able to do the car.
Some before notes:
* 4 month old VW GTi Black Magic Colour - it has metallic flakes in it
* Some light swirls and they were extremely hard to capture on camera so sorry
* Kept fairly clean as I`ve gotten a bunch of products to upkeep it
* It was extremely hot

The car turned out awesome. A flawless finish as I took care of some minor swirls. Originally, the package I put together, I was going to use M66, but instead decided to go with M80, and for doing that, I achieved the exact results I wanted to. Very happy I chose the M80. The package titled:
A Buff Cleaning + Custom Add Ons included the folllowing:
Cost: $150
* Hand Wash Using Two Bucket Method / Hand Dry
* Bug and Tar Remover applied to affected area
* Clay Barred / Film rinse removal
* Door jams / cervices cleaned

Now for the write up.
Step 1: Evaluate the surface.
Aside from being dirty that wasn`t really any damage to it. I found one spot of paint transfer on the roof of all places. Some light swirls and dirt.

That VW emblem is suppose to SHINE!!!

All four wheel wells were super dirty like this!!!
http://insoundsoft.mine.nu/kaoss/uploaded_images/Detailing/VW%20GTi/DSC00680.JPG
Black exterior trim that was a little dull for my liking!!!
http://insoundsoft.mine.nu/kaoss/uploaded_images/Detailing/VW%20GTi/DSC00681.JPG
Dirt right up the roof. The paint transfer was about 2 cm above the driver side door near the sun roof. Surprising spot I thought!!!

Side shot!!! Some reflection but not what I want or like at the moment!!!

Step 2: Paint Clean and Polish The Car
As I mentioned I decided to go with M80 instead of M66. M66 is what I usually use in this package but instead this time I went with M80 and the results were AMAZING!!!
I did M80 with the W - 8006 pad, panel by panel and it went on really easily and off really easy. I had never done a VW before and so to me the paint was nice. Not to soft and not to hard.
Following M80, I applied a coat of M07 which Anthony and I spoke about, in that, the M07 would add some shine and gloss to the paint which he liked. So using a foam applicator pad, I applied a nice even coat of M07 and took it off with a Supreme Shine Microfibre. And the colour was darkening and becoming a nice shiny metallic.
M80 on the passenger side panel!!!

All the trim was already faded which was suprising since its only 4 months old. So out comes my buddy Black Wow, and at it I go.
Here is a shot with a little application of Black Wow. The side on the right has a little application of Black Wow while the side on the left does not.

And now with the entire trim applied with Black Wow!!!
http://insoundsoft.mine.nu/kaoss/uploaded_images/Detailing/VW%20GTi/DSC00687.JPG
After M80 and a coat of M07, I followed up with my LSP of M21. I did it by hand with a foam applicator and it turned out nice. Had to wait about 45 minutes to take it off, even though it was hot and humid but it turned out beautiful!!!
Hood shot in the sunlight!!!
http://insoundsoft.mine.nu/kaoss/uploaded_images/Detailing/VW%20GTi/DSC00688.JPG
That is what the VW emblem should look like!!!
http://insoundsoft.mine.nu/kaoss/uploaded_images/Detailing/VW%20GTi/DSC00689.JPG
No more dirty wheel wells.
I took APC 4:1 and sprayed it down and let it sit for a good minute or so. Applied Wheel Brightener 4:1 to the wheels and then cleaned the wheel wells first and then the wheels. Turned out awesome.
Applied Hyper Dressing 4:1 x 2 to the wheel wells for that nice black shine!!!

Long side shot!!!

Now that`s a better side shot!!!

Tires dressed with Endurance High Gloss x 1!!!
http://insoundsoft.mine.nu/kaoss/uploaded_images/Detailing/VW%20GTi/DSC00696.JPG
Although this picture makes the paint look different, unfortunately its the photographer and not the paint.
Paint was super clear/clean in person!!!
http://insoundsoft.mine.nu/kaoss/uploaded_images/Detailing/VW%20GTi/DSC00693.JPG
And finally the end. Break time and time to cool off :D :D :D!!!
