Hey guys. I`m bored at work, so now I`m going to post pics of a little detail I did for my buddy over the 4th. I started around 10am and we finished around 2pm. I didn`t want to spend all day detailing since it was the 4th. I`m a "novice" detailer when it comes to using the PC, AND I`ve never detailed a black car. This was the 2nd car I`ve ever detailed other than my car. I`ve used my PC on special occasions, but only had it since FEB of this year. Well, I was able to remove 60-80% of the defects on his car. He had lots and lots of rock chips, so I avoided that area a lot more. I was a little worried about haze, but the only time it hazed was when I used Z-AIO with a white pad. I did some Z-6 wipe downs afterwards. Anyway, hope you enjoyed.

Process:

Z-7 wash

Clay

Z-7 wash

Dry

PC with yellow pad and Menz IP to whole car

Z-AIO with white pad

Z-5pro enabled with ZFX

Z-6 for any hazing issues.

I used my new Brinkmann Xenon light to capture all the swirls and water spots.

Sweet! Gives me some motivation to go polish my s2000! All you used was a yellow pad and IP? No need to follow up with FPII?

Thanks for all your kind words. I was so worried about hazing, but no an issue. This was the first time I detailed black and it was rewarding!

you sure took care of those nasty deep looking straight line scratches. i bet your buddy`s raving about his ride. this will definitely get you some attention, and money.

Signature Zaino clarity on the afters. It looks like a mirror!

That`s great work, in a short amount of time.
