Pad with UDM safe to use?

Hey I just purchased a UDM today because I want to move up from the PC but don`t feel comfortable with the Rotary yet...I just detail my own cars. I have plenty of LC pads and Edge pads but I was wondering if the polishing pad that comes with the UDM is safe to use or to toss it like the one that came with the PC?
