I was wondering if anyone knew how long I had to wait after applying Z-CS to put on Z-8. Today, I did a CS layer and then waited for about an hour and then put some Z-8 on. Did the CS have enough time to cure or did I just waste a CS application by putting on Z-8.

How long does Z-CS take to dry or cure?

Drying and curing are two different processes. Depending on atmospheric conditions, it typically takes 15-30 minutes for a properly applied layer of Z-CS to dry, but can take up to several hours with low ambient temperatures, moisture, and high humidity. Full cross linking (curing) generally takes anywhere from 2-6 hours, again, depending on atmospheric conditions.

So does that mean that I didn`t let CS fully cross link so I just wasted it?

I`d just re-apply CS and then use Z8 next time you wash it.

As soon as Z-CS is dry, you can apply Z-8. That usually occurs between 30 minutes and 2 hours.

I would wait 8 to 12 hours to apply another coat of Z-CS to let it cure.

Thanks for the reply guys. I`ve been a lurker here for a long-time just reading and learning. I`ve been using K-AIO and KSG for 3 years and recently switched to ZAIO and Z-CS. I`ve been very happy with Zaino`s products
